Welcome to CruizinK9, where pets are family and adventure is a way of life! Our journey began in 2010 with CruizinK9 Pet Adventure Company when we blended our two great passions—our love for dogs and our commitment to providing reliable, top-quality pet care. From the very beginning, our focus has been on creating memorable experiences for dogs through exercise, socialization and, of course, fun!

As a family-run business, we’ve had the privilege of sharing countless adventures with Kamloops’ four-legged residents. Over the years, we’ve taken dogs on thousands of exhilarating group hikes, exploring the beauty of nature while giving them the active, social lives they deserve.

But, like many, we faced unexpected challenges when the COVID-19 pandemic transformed the way we work, play, and connect. Public trails, once quiet and ideal for our group adventures, became busier than ever as more people and their pets turned to the outdoors. That’s when we made an important pivot—and it led us to an even better way to serve our community. We were fortunate to discover private acreage to lease, allowing us to continue offering the same enriching outdoor experiences in a safe, controlled environment. This space became our sanctuary, where dogs and their humans could reconnect with the things that matter most: movement, adventure and trust.

At CruizinK9, we care deeply for pets and the families who love them, and we’re always looking for new ways to support Kamloops’ pet-loving community. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the next chapter of our story: CruizinK9 Connect.

CruizinK9 Connect is a local platform designed to match caring, experienced pet sitters with pet owners who prefer their furry family members in a home environment while they’re away. Whether it’s staying in a cozy living room or enjoying personalized care, our mission is to ensure pets are happy and comfortable in an in-home setting while their families are away. It’s care that feels personal, trusted, and truly local—just the way it should be.
